CarLeverage (“we”, “us”) provides a one-time, personalized car negotiation script for CAD $49.99. There are no accounts, no login, and no subscription — this page explains what we collect for that one purchase, why, and how it's used.

What we collect

• Your email address, provided before checkout.
• Your intake answers: the vehicle (year, make, model, trim, or free text), new or used, listing URL, asking price, mileage, province, CARFAX/accident status, previous owners, any comparable listings you found (with dealer and location, if given), trade-in value range, payment method, and your timeline.
• Payment confirmation from Stripe once checkout succeeds. We never receive or store your card number — payments are handled entirely by Stripe.

How it's used

• To generate and deliver your personalized script.
• To provide support and process refund requests if you contact us.
• For operational logging and service improvement — for example, we log the negotiation numbers a script produced, and when our vehicle-issue database has no entry for your exact make/model/generation, we log that so we know what to add next.
• For pricing calibration, if you reply to a follow-up email asking what you ultimately paid for the vehicle.

We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run CarLeverage:

• Stripe — processes your payment and is our system of record for order details; your intake data is stored as metadata on the Stripe payment record rather than in a separate database of ours.
• Anthropic— generates portions of your script's text from your intake answers, using their Claude AI model.
• Vercel — hosts the CarLeverage website and processes requests to it.
• Resend — delivers your script by email.

We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.

AI disclosure

Portions of each script are generated by an AI language model (Anthropic's Claude), and your intake information is sent to Anthropic for this purpose. The negotiation numbers (opening offer, target, walk-away, and so on) and the vehicle-issue facts and repair-cost figures are notAI-generated — they come from CarLeverage's own data and calculation logic. Generated vehicle-specific content, like known-issue descriptions for a given make and model, may be cached and reused for other customers shopping the same vehicle; cached content never includes your personal information.

Cross-border processing

Our service providers may store or process your information outside Canada, including the United States, where Anthropic's servers may be located. Where that happens, your information may be accessible to local authorities under their law.

Retention

We don't maintain customer accounts or ongoing profiles. Your order and intake data persists in Stripe's records as long as needed for accounting, tax, and dispute purposes. Operational logs, like the ones described above, are retained for a limited period.

Your rights

You can contact us to request access to, or deletion of, the information we hold about you, subject to what we're legally required to retain (payment records, for example). Reach us through the contact page.

Email

The transactional emails tied to your purchase — your script and your receipt — are part of completing the purchase, not marketing. Any follow-up email we send, like the pricing calibration question above, will identify us and include a working unsubscribe link. We don't send marketing email without your consent.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. The date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
